Head of Security and Infrastructure

The role

Issuers trust us with a step in every payment they approve. That means low-latency infrastructure in several regions, strong key management, tight access control and evidence that all of it works.

You will own how we run in production and how we prove it, and build the team that does both.

What you will do

• Own multi-region infrastructure as code, with deploys that are safe to do daily.
• Own observability and alerting, including the fail-open monitoring every issuer relies on.
• Own key management, secrets, signing and webhook security across the platform.
• Lead SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, bank security reviews, penetration testing and incident response.
• Hire and lead the security and infrastructure team as we scale.

What you bring

• Eight or more years in infrastructure, SRE or security engineering, including leading a team.
• Deep experience with a major cloud provider and infrastructure as code.
• Practical knowledge of cryptography in production: keys, signatures, HSMs or KMS.
• Experience taking a company through a security audit or certification.

Good to have

• Experience in a PCI DSS environment or at a payments company.
• Familiarity with DORA and operational resilience expectations for banks' technology providers.

Compensation

$90k–$115k base salary per year

Base salary in USD for the highest-cost locations. Pay is adjusted for where you live using local market data, and every offer is made inside the adjusted band. People in the same role at the same level are paid on the same scale.
